Did I know exactly what I was getting into? Yes. Am I knocking the rating down a star solely because I didn't need to hear some of this spoken out loud? Also yes. The book itself is still 5 stars and I will always love Sex Wizards but dear god hearing some of this stuff while working out nearly had me in tears. I've learned an important lesson about what should and shouldn't be a gym book.

I read a lot of spicy books but it's not often I find one so creative in the world it creates but also so amazing in the spice it delivers. The magic system is just so brilliantly set up and the scenes are so hot. Just. Amazing.
I don't usually buy books due to lack of finances (received this book in a SYK event) but I will definitely be buying the next in this series. Even if you can only buy this first book it does end in a HFN which is enough
