This was a first for me in quite some ways. First, it was very informative regarding BDSM practices and general principles. It was amusing to see how the know-how of kinky is intertwined with the schools of magic. Secondly, it was very rich in detail and the pace of the encounters and castings were decent. It was a better version of all the erotic tales written when the internet was still young in very specific forums and webpages.
I could even admit that it is clever the way each magic schools corresponds to certain kink practices. But, in that same regard, the whole magical system is sorely underdeveloped. Focuses are mainly rings and beads from a special material. There is no deeper lore, no further show on how magic and sex are concocted. It seems that pleasure is somewhere there because it is rather obvious, but apart from that, magic is just almost makeshift.
