Good book for young teens

There are many aspects that will be relatable for many middle school students. Korman also does a great job of switching perspectives between characters in a way that works to flesh out the story. As a whole I was a bit put off by the final few scenes. They seemed to easy and the overall resolution didn't seem that fulfilling.

This is a total Disney TV movie that could never happen in real life but if you just go with it, it’s a great story. I do think it’s completely ridiculous (ridiculous on all the already unrealistic) these are 8th graders. They’re written more like high schoolers. It’s a “fairy tale” plot but sometimes you need that...
hopeful lighthearted medium-paced

This was my first book by Gordon Korman and it was great! I am looking forward to reading more books by him.

Great upper middle grade read

What a unique, heartwarming and complex treat. It's been a while since I've read a YA book I enjoyed so much.
