Diary books just don't ring true with me for some reason. Maybe I was in a grumpy mood when I read it. But my four-year-old son loved this book and wanted me to read it to him three times.
This is such a cute little children's book. We laugh and laugh every time we read it. Our family's favorite part is when he writes about his sister. No matter how long she looks in the mirror her face will always look the same as her rear end. Worm's friend spider thought it was pretty funny, his mother, however did not.
When worms do the hockey pokey, they can only put their head in and take their head out. That is all. My son loves this whimsically illustrated book about a worm's life. Fun to read!
Today it was raining and there were HUGE rooms in our courtyard. I gave my students buckets and they went out and gathered up the worms who were trying to move to a new home to help them out. This book seemed like the perfect way to end the day.
Best line was when he tells his sister to quit looking in the mirror because her face looks just like her butt. LOL

So funny. I love the view of a worms life. My favorite part was when he told his sister no matter how pretty she was her face would still look like her behind.
Adorable picture book outlining the diary of a worm with a mix of truth and whimsy. Nicely illustrated by Harry Bliss.
Cute! Wish it was longer, I'd like to get to know him better.
