When worms do the hockey pokey, they can only put their head in and take their head out. That is all. My son loves this whimsically illustrated book about a worm's life. Fun to read!
Today it was raining and there were HUGE rooms in our courtyard. I gave my students buckets and they went out and gathered up the worms who were trying to move to a new home to help them out. This book seemed like the perfect way to end the day.
Best line was when he tells his sister to quit looking in the mirror because her face looks just like her butt. LOL

So funny. I love the view of a worms life. My favorite part was when he told his sister no matter how pretty she was her face would still look like her behind.
Adorable picture book outlining the diary of a worm with a mix of truth and whimsy. Nicely illustrated by Harry Bliss.
Cute! Wish it was longer, I'd like to get to know him better.
Diary of a worm is my favorite of Cronin’s Diary series. This one is so creative, without trying too hard. I liked that Worm does lots of things kids also do, but with their own unique worm appropriate twist. Macaroni necklaces, homework, and dinner all look a little different for a worn!
I thought this was brilliant. There is also some great worm factoids along the way. The whole thing just made me smile and laugh ("Worms can't walk upside down.").
