Es bastante lindo pero exasperantemente repetitivo. Muy, pero muy repetitivo. Y no me gustó que la mitad de los poemas terminaban repitiendo la misma frase. Se entiende bien con una sola vez.

Although a lot of the poems are centered around relationships with your partner, you can also extended them to the rest of your life. I’ve highlighted a LOT in the book but these stand out the most:
- “Love will not save you. But it will hold your hand while you save yourself.”
- “You are not what you are going through. You are not what you are going through. You are not what you are going through.”
- “How they make you feel says a lot about them and nothing about you.”
- “Stay open; it is how the light gets in.”
- “The people who break you are not the ones who are going to put you back together.”
Of course, it’s something we all already knew, yet the impact of rereading it a few times does make an impression on you as a person.
But once I got through the middle of the book, all I thought was: afronden en doorgaan

A beautiful work of art that I read immediately after a breakup that left me feeling shattered. This is exactly what I needed - the part that got me the most was, "they didn't leave you because they didn't love you. No, they left you because they didn't love themselves enough to believe they could be different."
