This was a really sweet read that gave off major Parent Trap vibe. Highly recommend for fans of feel good YA books. More of a 3.5 for me but rounding up because the story did make me happy.

* I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review

I hadn’t even finished this one and I was telling my 14 year old daughter she should read it! I loved this one so much! The kids all felt relatable, each dealing with their own personal insecurities while navigating their world. I stressed, nervous giggled, laughed, and cried a little with Abby and Savvy.

This was a story about a girl who discovers that she has a sister she never knew about and the path she takes to find out what happened. Throw in a BFF romance and summer camp and you have a nice summer story.

I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Emma Lord has written a great story about growing up and not being afraid to face new things and hidden it inside a plot that sounds straight out of a Jerry Springer/'90s Disney movie mashup.
It's mostly fun and innocent, full of the anxieties and worries typical of adolescence, while also taking the fact that all those feelings are valid and complex into account in creating a story that breathes life into even the side characters.
Abby is immensely relatable and Savannah is a great counterpoint to her. They each have their own worries before being hit with the big reveal but they're both handling it differently. It doesn't help that they both also feel like they're the only ones facing adversity and that they have to handle it alone. Just their interactions and that of their parents are enough to make this a worthwhile book, but add in a crossed-wires romance, finding a path to the future, and a super strict summer camp, and you've got the makings of a great story.

Manny happy thanks to NetGalley and Wednesday Books for the early read.

Thank you Wednesday books for my earc copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Emma Lord dazzles readers again with the novel “You Have a Match.” Abby is your typical high school senior who is swamped with tutoring and parent pleasing. However, her world turns upside down when DNA results pop back with her having a close in age relative. Set to discover more, Abby goes on an adventure to summer camp with her secret crush, Leo. Will she learn more about her relative? Will this summer camp experience be like any other? Will she share her true feelings with Leo? Readers, I strongly urge you to pick up this novel when it is released January 12!

This book had me smiling the whole way through. I could easily relate to Abby’s camp experiences and her desire to keep her thoughts inside of her. I loved the way that Emma Lord crafted this novel so that it could be identifiable with the teenage reader. This is a story that has a beautiful setting, well written characters and an even better plot twist. “You Have a Match” reminded me of parent trap in the best possible way. Packed with emotion and thought, this book had me on an emotional high.

Readers of romance, ya fiction and adventure at camp should run, not walk to grab this when it hits shelves. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

I picked this up from the library thinking it seemed cute and entertaining, I did not expect to read it in two sittings! The drama sucked me, I enjoyed getting to know the characters and the summer camp setting was perfect.
