I’m calling it. DNF. There are things that I enjoyed but there was a lot of just “talking” that didn’t move the plot in anyway. I can appreciate the world building but I think this one is not for me. Disappointed since there was so much hype

Good book, but characters were all flat. I tried not to fall asleep every other chapter. World building nice. Characters flat and 2 of narrators were annoying ( Tani, Niklas). Romance plot was okay. I wouldn’t call this book epic, it’s hard to achieve as a standalone. The worst part was the battle with final boss. First of all, wdym the biggest west dragon is kinda the same as an east one and the wingspan is only 2 ships wide. Okay I guess? I imagined something truly massive.

Anyway this was not 700 pages worth with the battle being like 20 pages?
