This one was slow building for me. It took me forever to get into the characters and I often wondered why certain people or situations were being introduced. The ending had a great twist, which definitely caught me off guard.

Prequel.. so it was expected to be short. But it just felt a little rushed... Overall an intriguing read! Looking forward to more of Cormac Reilly!

A great novella to listen to on the commute to work! I enjoyed the tension at the end even though you figured it out! I’m glad I found this author and have a few more in my to be read list!!
