This was a cute wrap-up and I was glad to see where everyone was before moving on to the next year of hockey players however mister Garrett Graham did piss me off a lot by not being there for Hannah (it seems to be what he does best making me incredibly angry and then being sweet to make up for it) but it was so nice to see everyone band together for their friends

Logan and Grace are very busy, Grace with school and her radio show job, Logan with hockey. They don’t have enough time together so Logan, under the advice of Garrett, books a trip in Vermont? to spend New Year’s Eve together at a cabin. However, on the way there, they experience a blizzard and get stuck on the side of the road. They have to wait for the tow truck and try to conserve the gas and fuel in the car before help arrives. Grace tried to make a pact that if one of them dies the other is allowed to eat the other’s body to survive, Logan refutes this and calls Grace dramatic. When the two truck comes, they amen it to the B&B and meet the owners who the man happens to be a pastor. Logan ask if he does weddings and it ends.
Dean wants to propose to Allie and is practicing with Garrett and Logan. He states how he wants to propose at tucker’s wedding and both say not to. Later at Tucker’s bachelor party, Tucker threatens to ruin every moment of Dean’s if he does propose at his wedding. Also it’s found out that Summer (Dean’s sister) and Fitz (Colin Fitzgerald) have been dating for a while now. The bachelor party is at a professional ice rink and the guys invited all their old teammates (30 of them) to play a hockey game for the next two hours. Meanwhile, Allie is at the bachelorette party and it’s a tea party that includes three year old Jamie. She expresses she doesn’t want to get engaged anytime soon because then comes the marriage and kids pretty soon and she just wants to wait a bit, even tho Dean is her forever person. The guys talk about how their coach may have sex. Allie tries to find Hannah and see if she is in the restroom but runs into Grace and Logan and hears Logan calling Grace Mrs. Logan and finds out they eloped, Grace and Allie go to the restroom to talk about how it happened and then after Grace tells her, they hear someone in the stall throwing up. This person happens to be Hannah and she tells them that she might be pregnant and yes did hear the whole story from Grace. Dean goes to visit allies dad to ask his permission to marry Allie and allie’s dad complains a bit about being asked but says yes. Dean then visits his mom to ask to borrow the penthouse. He tried to propose but Allie doesn’t allow him to ask and they argue and he leaves. Dean refuses to talk to her and she leaves to the club with her cow workers to celebrate the end of their show. She tells them the situations and Allie realizes that she should’ve allowed Dean to propose. She finds Dean with garret and Logan and proposes to him. (Also there’s a scene where she snuck into Logan room and saw Dean windbreaker on the chair and waited till the person in the restroom to come out thinking it was Dean and ends up seeing Logan naked). At the end, they have sex back at home and the following morning receive a package from Grace congratulating them on their engagement and it’s the doll, Alexander (Dean bought it an an antique auction for 4000$ and allegedly the doll is haunted, he gifted it to Jamie, tuckers daughter, and now the doll gets sent to each other from the friend group when there’s a milestone or just randomly).
Tucker and Sabrina go on their honeymoon together, the leave Jamie with tuckers mom. On the plane ride to their destination, it does an emergency landing due to a technical issue with the plane. Sabrina takes it upon herself to stress about having a will in the events that smtnn happens to her and Tucker. When they finally reach the home Dean’s family owns, they have to use a boat to get there. They spend the night together and the following morning have fun. In their way to eat breakfast they spot the Alexander doll and Sabrina freaks out. Isa, the housekeeper, explain that Dean left it for them. They then call Dean to chastise him and throw him into the ocean. They later decide to swim and Tucker ends up getting stung by a jellyfish pretty badly and asks for help from a neighbor, Bruce, to pee on Tucker but another guy, Kevin, tells him it’s a myth and to not pee on Tucker. The following day, they’re in the house chilling when Grace sends a message to Sabrina with a link of a hockey blog post that spilled the secret of Logan and Grace’s marriage status. In the group chat, they’re all telling Grace how surprised they are and then share when the others (Allie and Hannah) found out, sabrina says smtnn about how Allie should’ve said smtnn and how Hannah is safe because she knows how to keep a secret when Allie spills the beans that Hannah is pregnant. Shocking everyone in the group chat. Hannah pleads for everyone not to share that she’s pregnant and they all promise. Later in the evening, Tucker and Sabrina have dinner with the neighbors that tried to help them at the beach. Kevin is a lawyer and Bruce is an influencer and fitness trainer. Afterwards, Tucker and Sabrina are under a palm tree and after Sabrina orgasms from Tucker fingering here a coconut falls on her head and she loses conscious. The following day, Sabrina stays home while Tucker hangs out and goes fishing with Bruce and Kevin. Tucker comes back to find Sabrina waiting for him at the beach and she’s sunburnt but so is he, while they’re talking Bruce and Kevin call for their attention as they found smtnn. Turns out it’s the Alexander doll. the following day, as they’re trying to stay off their sunburnt skin, Sabrina advocates that they should leave their honeymoon early but Tucker disagrees and wants them to have time alone together. They get into a big argument about how Tucker isn’t expressing himself fully by not saying how unfulfilled he feels working/owning the bars and is being passive while Tucker wants Sabrina to be home a bit more but supports her in choosing the job position at the well-know law firm that will take up a lot of time and pays well. He also feels like Sabrina isn’t prioritizing him as much as she is prioritizing school, her jobs and their child. Tucker leaves and goes on by himself and says he’s going to a bar, Sabrina stays but the neighbors both heard the arguments and Bruce goes with Tucker and Kevin stays with Sabrina. They get a call later by Bruce that Tucker got arrested. Apparently he was misidentified by a man who claimed he shoplifted and vandalized his shop and the police immediately arrested Tucker without actually validating these claim. Sabrina is able go get Tucker out of jail by arguing with them about the unfairness and lack of evidence they have for arresting Tucker. Afterwards they promise to each other that Tucker will be more honest and Sabrina will prioritize them a bit more. On their last day, they pack and say by to Bruce and Kevin when Kevin offers Sabrina a position at his firm but they would have to relocate to New York. Then Bruce speaks up and shares how he wants to expand his fitness brand to have a more physical and permanent presence such as building a gym. And basically offers to Tucker a position in helping him set up and make the potential gym marketable.
Hannah is still having trouble eating, however she attends the award ceremony with Garrett and Logan as Garrett won a reward related to the number of goals he scored. At the award ceremony, Garrett’s father is there and pretend to be all nice with Garrett and such. Hannah has yet to tell Garrett she pregnant and has been delaying it due to it not being the right time. She works at a studio as a song composer/producer and recently received her check of 300,000$ for making a hit song and is currently helping out a rapper with his next album. Meanwhile, Garrett’s hockey season has ended but he recently has been asked to do a joint interview with his dad related to hockey on a show called the legacy. Garrett refused to do it however his dad ended up speaking for him and claimed they would both do it (Garrett has his suspicion his dad somehow made this opportunity happened). Hannah wanted to tell Garrett but it happened to be on the day the interview was to happen and decided not to tell him. However, she has had some cramps and later, while Garrett is doing the interview, realizes that she is bleeding and it’s gotten a bit heavier. She leaves Garrett a voicemail, panicking and asking him to come because she’s scared to go to the hospital alone and tells him she’s pregnant. He leaves in the middle of the interview and on the car ride together to the hospital, they are yelling at each other and Garrett compares Hannah to his manipulative dad because she didn’t share that she was pregnant sooner (but it Hannah’s defense he had said smtnn about not having kids because of the trauma/experience he has from his own father but she doesn’t mention it in their argument). Hannah is 10 weeks pregnant and turns out she and the baby are okay and the bleeding may be related to how they were having “vigorous” sex. At home, Hannah refuses to talk to Garrett and the following morning leaves to go work at the studio. Meanwhile, Garrett talks to Logan about how Hannah is pregnant but cuts the call short when he sees a relator number that Hannah has left. This frightens him into thinking she was leaving him so he goes to the studio to beg for her to stay. She reveals to him she had the realtor number for her parents because she had planned to use the money she earned to pay for her parents debt to leave the town they’re in to potentially move closer to Boston. Everything is fine between them and Garrett is excited to become a father. At home, Hannah casually proposes by just stating they should get married and Garrett happily agrees. Garrett also decides to talk to the ESPN producer and let him know about his past physical abuse from his father. It is then decided that Garrett will open up to talk about it in the interview instead. One day in August, on their way to the ultrasound, Tucker, Sabrina and Jamie stop by. They gift Hannah and Garrett a gift and it turns out to be Alexander but also another doll called Cassandra that was apparently part of a group/set from where Alexander came from. At the clinic, Hannah and Garrett find out they’re having twins, a boy and a girl.

Alexander was undeniably the best part of this story. I love to get to see snippets of my favorite characters and how their relationships have grown and progressed since their individual books. I also loved that they took place at the same time so that it felt like a continuous story.
