*3.5 stars.

This book had a really interesting concept about a royal vampire named Charlotte who is taken out of her luxurious lifestyle after a shocking event to live amongst the people she was raised to look down upon. There’s romance, humor and blood... lots of blood. ⚰️

This felt like a Wattpad cliché story.
Charlotte Travesty was a vampire princess, in a world where vampires have the power, and people are weak, until her eyes turn into those of an Abomination.
Now she must forget all the luxuries of her life and live in a dirty district, where she would never have stepped before. And here her life changes completely.

In this world, flowers are nothing but colorful things to be stepped on.

Good quick easy

Quick easy read but not for me. The World is original and complex. A lot packed into a short story

I loved this serial by KJ Sutton and Jessie Elliot, I'm a big fan of KJ Sutton and I was excited to see how this book would break my heart like her others. I feel that it took me till the second part of the serial to really sink my teeth into this but once I did the romance points of this book were incredible! The plot of the book had me interested throughout and I enjoyed how we're learning alongside Charlie as she finds herself in this new world. I'm very glad I read this book and will definitely be reading the second volume when it comes out.

Gah! I need more! Wow does this book hook you right from the first line and drags you sprinting forward until it's final page.

I read it in one sitting.

I am loving vampires right now, and the world that Charlie Travesty lives in is so interesting. A complex caste system and a world built on fear. he characters shine and just when you think you know what's going on, it all shifts sideways.

So curious to find out what happens next because let me forewarn you - the cliff-hanger on this one is a DOOZY.

Charlie Travesty is by both Jessi Elliot and K.J Sutton. Its released as novellas and that's my physical copy of the first 4 parts bound. The 5th novella just came out on the kindle and I'll just be holding my breath until the next one comes out in Sept!

Guys I am not normally a big vampire fan, but oh my gosh I love this series! It takes place in this gritty dystopian world, its heart warming, heart breaking, infuriating, suspenseful and oh so sexy!

I really liked the plot of this, usually you have the vampires in the shadows with the humans ruling. It was really cool to see that flipped on its head and reversed and I felt that K.J Sutton & Jessi Elliott did a really good job at playing that out.

I liked how fast paced it was, you get right into the story right away and I loved Charlie as a character.

I'm looking forward to continuing with the series and watching the romances play out
