I was able to totally relate to Poppy and Sam's technological relationship. It seems like a silly topic to write a book about, but these days many relationships start and grow through technology. I loved seeing their texting banter and loved the underlying drama in the story as well! This was a fun story and an easy read. Only took me 2 days!

I'm not one to read a lot of chic lit but I was recommended this by a family member and thought i'd give it a go. I listened to the audio, and the reader was really fun and overall I was pleased. I saw the movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic and this kind of followed the same routine as plots go. It was light and fluffy and the main character...even with all her good intentions...was kind of a bit of a scatter brain and was always getting herself into trouble. And could she not see the writing on the wall? (insert head shake) BUT It was good just nothing special. I didn't feel the romance had a depth I usually like to find between two characters. I like my fair share of chick flicks, but I think i'll stick to movies instead of reading them in book form.

**this also had its FAIR SHARE of swearing. (quite a lot of F words.) I'm usually not a stickler but there was a point in this book that I almost stopped reading because of it. Although I have heard that it is not as big of a deal in England as it is here in the US.
funny lighthearted fast-paced

4.5*!
Só queria que tivesse um epílogo sobre o relacionamento de poppy e sam :( mas fora isso sophie kinsella pfta como sempre

Predictable but funny...ending was kinda random though

Another great fun quick read. SK always makes me feel happy.

This is such a fun, cute read!!

I mostly listened to the audiobook, and it was great! It made me literally LOL at times, which doesn't happen often for me with books. Overall, a great story with great characters. I loved it!!

Din't think i would actually enjoy this book. I just thought it was another romance. It is a romance but a funny one. its cute its actually funny. after 50 shades and some other heavy sexed up books i really liked this one. So if ur Meg Cabot fans i think you will like this one. No heavy dose romance or lust or hero no obsession no vampires no filthy rich or handsome hero's.. its simple and adorable.

If I could, I would've given this book 2 & a 1/2 stars, not just two, but that wasn't an option and I didn't feel it deserved 3 stars.

Things I liked:

SpoilerThe relationship between Poppy and Sam. The progression was great. They developed a genuine fondness for each other. Their banter was fun too.
The storyline that revolved around Sam and his business.
The ending was cute.

Things I didn't like:

SpoilerThe entire first half of the book was a drag. It was so slow, nothing happened.
I didn't like any of the side characters. Poppy and Sam were the only ones I could tolerate.

This book would have been a 4 star book for me, if the downsides weren't so prevalent. I'm not giving up on this author, there is another one of her books I want to read, I just hope I find that one more entertaining than this one.

A quick and unoriginal book. This book is like those movies that you can sleep through half of the movie, wake up and continue watching like you didn't miss a thing. It is so so predictable it's not even funny. I got it as a present, I wouldn't ever buy a book like this myself. It isn't so bad, I just don't like reading "the funny romantic comedy" novels like this one.
