Thoroughly enjoyed yet another Kinsella novel. And the audible versions are wonderful
DNF. I gave up in disgust around the time that the main character sent an email for someone else that clearly was going to result in allegations of sexual harassment. I mean I can enjoy a ditzy-but-genuine character but there was so much secondhand embarrassment that I could not take it any more. Just awful. And she just keeps lying and stealing and making one bad decision after another.
I’ve been hoping to find another “Chick-Lit” author that I enjoy as much as Meg Cabot, and This author is not that.

4.5 stars. The second highest I've given to any Sophie's books.
This is undoubtedly my second fave, with Twenties girl in first place and The Undomestic Goddess in third.
I thought the book was brilliant. Especially with the texting part and her reading all of Sam's texts (tee hee). It was such a twisted romantic story and even though chick lit is quite predictable, this had some amazing twists, like the Undomestic Goddess.
There were some moments where I felt lost, like I have no idea what happened in Sam's office with Sir Nicholas. But it got all sorted and I'm happy :)
I squealed in delight when he sent a face to her!! Eep!!
Also the heart. Its a typical modern day love story.
Magnus was so hot. I had no idea that he was such an asshole.
All through the book, I squealed in delight and laughed aloud and fangirled hard. This is for every girl who is addicted to her phone *cough* me *cough*.

Okay. Sophie Kinsella is one of my girly, "chick-lit," guilty pleasures. I don't generally love her books, but they're usually a reliably fun read. "I've Got Your Number" was the first time I loved one of her books. There was more than one occasion that I laughed out loud, and not just a single chortle. I mean, laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes. The main character, Poppy Wyatt, was amusing and not TOO silly or immature.
The premise involves a phone swap in a meet-cute, and the two main character's lives are entwined, leading to hilarious misunderstandings and escapades. If you're looking for a good time, this is where to start.
