Hilarious and heart warming, Cow Girl is about being gay in a small community, being a woman in a male-dominated field and about finding love in in unlikely places. Plus, cows.

I received a copy via Net Galley.

I didn't enjoy this book. I really struggled to get into this story. I didn't feel connected with the main character and although the book is 400 pages long it felt that very little actually happened. Sadly this book was really not for me.

Not exactly what I thought it was going to be but it was very cute. Very Hallmark movie-esqe.
It was a delight to read and I loved loved loved the cows. I loved them so much. Also sapphic enemies to lovers?? Yes, please!

I enjoyed the cast of characters and their personalities. I was worried near the end about our main character losing her character growth but she held her shit together.

There were a few times where I questioned "Is this a UK thing or should we not be saying this".

An example would be one character who wears her hair in a mohawk but it's described as a 'Mohican'. Is that a UK thing?? Is that a bad thing (it feels bad to me especially when I looked up what it was)?? Someone please educate me on this.

some of the LGBTQ terminology seemed outdated and I don't know if this just wasn't caught in the editing process or if the editor/author was just not up to date on the terms as a whole. Either way it is something I wish would get fixed.
