I don't usually like contemporary romances; unless it's paranormal, I find modern settings boring. But my love of Harley-riding, leather-clad, tatted-up men drew me to this book, and I wasn't disappointed. Hot is a perfect word for this tale of opposites. And I appreciated how the audio book was done with both female and male readers.

this is the first book I have read by this author and I am hooked. the story of the girl in trouble at the side of the road and a tough and dangerous biker is her only hope to get home safe. they start a steamy affair which shows you should never judge a book by its cover.
I can see me reading this book again and cant wait to read more in the series

i love me my italian family books, the way its so accurate on family dinners and everything, i know chicago and italians are very different than the italians in canada like i am. but i loved this story, good girl somewhat bad guy, on the outside. tatttoos piercings and motocycle. i mean its a every girl dream.
theyre both trying to peel back they layers into something they both arent used to. i love how he is an alpha but not too strong of an alpha where he believes sex is the only answer, i loved how he took care of her in a gentle way after she got hurt. yes it did go to sex eventually but he was so gentle with her and after learning why he didnt love easy made my heart hurt for him. i love the family aspect which i think i loved this book early in.
side note, i did listen to this book, i dont think my thoughts would have changed but they did an amazing job.

Suzy lives a quiet, well structured life and when her car breaks down she finds her life turning into a tailspin she is not sure she wants to control. Joey goes by the name City he isn't looking for a relationship but when he meets Suzy he knows he has to have a taste, or two, or three. Neither were looking for each other but they seem to have found it, now if they can only accept it.

Fantastic read, I liked that Suzy and City are opposites of one another. Suzy struggles with the fact that City is not her ideal "perfect persona" of a man she should be with, he is erratic and it frightens her. I thought his idea of a date was delightful and that he has a way of letting his special memories with Suzy distract him during the day. Can't wait to read more.

This story started off fast and hot. I wasnt sure where the story was going to go but I felt such a connection with Suzy I just had to keep reading to see. I want me a City. A strong capable man that you can confess to that just supports you. I love their love.

Suzie always had a set list on what her perfect man would be like and even uses a checklist, to live her happily ever after, but when she broke down and saw City, she got confused, the way he made her feel was like no one had before.
City wants all of Suzie and with the pain in he’s past he wants to be sure it’s the real him that she wants, but he can’t get her out of his mind and is determined to make Suzie his.
Suzie starts to see that maybe she should throw out the checklist and take a chance with City, that he maybe, worth the risk.

I've seen this series around and needed a "quick and hot read". Unfortunately and although the blurb sounded promising, this fell short really fast.
The writing was "mechanic" or dare I say "cliché"?
I never could connect with the characters, most of the situations or encounters were too formulaic, I guess my rating goes to both the cover and the idea behind the book. (You could say the cover was a great influence at the time I picked this up.:P )
