I loved City and Suzy !!
Listened to the audiobook and the performances were perfect.
Not my first Chelle book as I started with the end of this series.

I keep trying new authors and being disappointed. I found the characters to be hugely clichéd, the plot dull and dragging, and the dialogue inauthentic.
I was gifted a copy from the author for an honest review.
First off we meet Suzy, she is on the way home from a night out with a girlfriend and she breaks down in the middle of no where and this is where her life changes. City blasts past on his fat boy but decides to turn around and sees if she needs a hand and has they say the rest is history.
You feel the chemistry sizzle between them and it scares them, they don't know what to do with this feelings. Suzy has a checklist a life plan of what she wants in a guy and City is far from that idea so she decides one night she will put her rules on hold and let go after that its the end. They have great sex, hot sex, melt your panties type of sex leaving you wishing you were Suzy getting a piece of sexy as sin City.
City pushes Suzy out of her comfort zone he wants her and only her and he will do anything to convince Suzy that this is the right thing. I loved City's family the closeness, love and his mum. Then you have Suzy's best friends Sophia and Kayden I loved them just has much as City's family especially Sophia she is a firecracker and you will love her.
Then Chelle throws in some major heartbreak, sadness, gut wrenching making City realize what he wants in life and that is Suzy will they get there HEA you need to one click to find out and you won't regret it.

Not for me. I tried, I really did but I had to admit defeat at 40%. Sorry, I put some effort into it but I just can't bring myself to finish it. The story bored me and the H and h annoyed me to no end.

Suzy and City are just the sweetest. City is such a Big bad alpha with a soft spot for his girl. Acompletely enjoyable trek in to the Gallo family. The characters alluded to some darker fantasies and themes that didn't get described in the story and i would have loved to read those scenes in more detail. It felt a little brushed over. I can wait to see them pop up in the other books in the series.
