This is pretty darned uneven. Not to mention I found every single character incredibly annoying. I think what I really wanted to read was a nonfiction book about a hurricane, because the stuff about the storm was all I was interested in - and I only got about 100 pages in, so the storm had barely begun! The scene that made me decide to stop reading was when Bree and Drew kiss for the first time, while on a mission to rescue Bree’s scooter and bring it to higher ground, and they are in Drew’s truck and her seatbelt gets stuck. Drew leans over to help her, she kisses him, and then about a half-sentence later, he’s “cupping her breasts”. Ick. Nopity-nope.

I enjoyed this book! I am a huge animal lover and loved how a lot of this book revolved around rescuing animals left behind in the hurricane. The romance was also pretty cute and fun. I wish there would have been more details about the hurricane when it happened though because it was super hyped up throughout the book and when it actually happened, the main character pretty much slept through the storm which kind of annoyed me. Overall though, it was fun to read and I liked it!

This book wasn’t bad, but it didn’t exceed my expectations either. It was exactly what I thought it was going to be, a fun and quick romance. I mostly picked it up because the main character’s name was Sabrina just like me. I could definitely tell that the author mostly writes YA because of her writing style. Would still recommend if you’re looking for cute and fast read.

I love Meg Cabot & this book, like her others, was very cute. I didn't love this one as much as I have her others however. The story line felt a bit underdeveloped. As the end approached I felt like it had just gotten to the good part & then all of a sudden it was over. Definitely a quick & fun read, I had just hoped for a bit more of a story.
