3.5. The plot confused me a bit but it’s gorgeous to look at just the right amount of spooky

Aunque el dibujo me ha parecido una pasada, la historia me ha dejado más confusa de lo que me gustaría y me quedo con la sensación de que no la pillado bien.

I loved the art in this and the limited color palette especially. There were parts that were definitely very creepy and suspenseful. But if you asked me to fully explain what happened in this, especially at the end I would have a hard time explaining it. And maybe I wasn't paying enough attention...And to be fair since this is supposed to be emanating gothic literature and gothic horror elements, that happens a lot within that genre. But I almost felt like I was missing something at the end. And whether that was some details I missed or just that the story need to be a tad bit longer.

Overall, it was very interesting though.

Very good visuals and graphics, perfect for horror genre lovers, I would have liked the story to be a bit more developed and longer

The illustrations in this graphic novel were absolutely gorgeous! I did not understand where the story was going until the last pages, but that gave the story and interesting twist.

Holy. Shit. Beautiful, terrifying, and sensual, When I Arrived at the Castle is the kind of queer feminist horror content that I crave.

I've had my eyes on this for a long time, and I finally got around to read it. Gorgeous art as usual, Carroll's artstyle is so incredibly captivating, the horror, the use of colour... No words. As for the story itself, saphic, monstrous, weird, with a hint of folklore. Really enjoyed it.
