I thoroughly enjoyed this read. It was a wonderful blend of real-world and fantasy. While the overall plot was fairly predictable, that wasn’t the driving, compelling force behind the story. The characters are what the main focus is and what truly brought the pages alive. Reading this made me think a lot about the little moments, simple pleasures, etc. we may miss or neglect in life.

Oh. My. God. I loved this book. I was mesmerized by the plot and audibly gasped at the many twists and had to keep myself from crying on my commute as I listened to the last few chapters. I am in love with this book and wish I could just wrap myself up in it. Definitely headed for post-book hangover for the next few days.

This story deals with mortality, the feeling of not having enough time, and wanting to experience the world and new things and with leaving a mark in the world. All of these are themes that, if you're going through right now, you'll feel identified with the characters and enjoy the ride.
I was surprised with the accurate depiction of anxiety, both experiencing it and being with someone who does. As good of an exploration about mental health and the themes previously mentioned, it can get a bit slow after a while.
We spend 300 years wit Addie, and yet, it feels like not a lot happens.
The ending was slightly disappointing to me, but overall I enjoyed this book and went through it really fast.

Me sorprendió la descripción tan precisa de la ansiedad, tanto al experimentarla como al estar con alguien que la padece. Con todo y la exploración sobre la salud mental y los temas mencionados anteriormente, puede volverse un poco lento después de un tiempo. Estamos con Addie por 300 años y de algún modo parece que no pasan muchas cosas.
El final fue un poco decepcionante para mí, pero en general disfruté este libro y lo leí muy rápido.
