No connection with the characters. Writing didn't bring any emotion.
I honestly didn't love Mile's character. I thought he was kinda doing too much for someone who swore they were over their past relationship but also didn't want to actually date Kate. The guy best friend was also an annoying character to me, why did he date the other friend if hes been in love with Kate this whole time? Just wasn't super invested in any of these characters if im being honest.
Second book by this author and while I found Nine month contract charming and funny this one was just okay. Nothing really too memorable.
The one thing that got me through is how much I love Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon as narrators.

The story was cute but the writing was awkward. Also the characters behaved really weirdly.
The storyline wasn’t too bad. But there was a bit too much spice for my taste
Fun, quick read.
My husband sells tires to mechanic shops so I was drawn in to that similarity.

Love that this is a movie now. Great to see a romance writer as the fmc. Amy Daws' writing is great as always. Funny read. Would recommend. Would read again.
