idgi man , how are these books 4.4 stars ? i’m straight up getting trust issues with reviewers . i’m so fed up reading these dogwater romance books masquerading as literature when i swear to christ it’s as though someone was like telling me about them through soup cans on a string .
and what’s with this edgelord behavior from avi ? jughead from riverdale lookin’ ass . wow you’re so cool smoking pot and skipping class . you really told him by cussing ! oh , underage drinking ? naughty naughty rebel .
also , are we brave enough to have the kyran is an abuser conversation yet ?
this “ book “ is not well-written or particularly engaging . in like 80 pages they go from “ not gay “ lol to anal . your honor ?? hello ?? and , there’s religious trauma that manifests . . . oddly ? like , does not affect him sexually at all ? if anything the pair of them are super plussed about it .
but , to that point , god these books have so much godforsaken hidden religious trauma . maybe warn a reader in a romance book when their protagonist was a victim of RAPE IN THE CHURCH !

kyran: I WANT TO PROTECT HIM AT ALL COSTS!!! My poor baby💔my heart broke for him… as much as he frustrated me at first (like some things he said… JUST NO) but at the end… he and avi are made for each other <3 (I just know he would have said yes if avi asked at the end)

i really enjoyed this, i always rate smutty books like this on a different scale… 3 stars is probably about equivalent to a 5 stars when it comes to super nsfw books !! i loved this, taboo romances honestly are a guilty pleasure for me and this was one of them for sure. i love these two so much and the trauma portrayed through kyran is so well done.
