Spoilers!!! This edition had me all pissed off! in a good way! I couldnt guess or figure out who A was/is! I also loved how there wasnt an ending to the 3rd Arc of the series! This story line is going to continue into book 13. Normally each arc is 4 books each and then the specific storyline ends but not this time! :D I found this book much better than the past 3 also because there seemed to be more content to go off of and more new characters which I think it needed. I am very curious as to where it will all lead to with the new pairing and disappearances! I cant wait to read the next stepping stone to this #1 bestselling series!

2.5ish

I really don't mind that Sara Shepard is drawing this series out to its last breath, but at least make it interesting! We all know that whatever the pretty little liars are thinking is wrong, and if all signs are pointing towards someone being A, they are assuredly not.

That being said, this series is still bubblegum for my brain. Fun to read, although ultimately unsatisfying. 12 books in, what's 4 more, amirite?

id give it a 3.8

The only reason I'm reading these now is to see who the THIRD 'A' is. I really couldn't care less about anything else.

Burned is book number four in the third arc of Pretty Little Liars. Honestly, I don't have much to say about this book.

Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer are still being stalked by "A", the anonymous text messenger that is after them and out to destroy their lives. In Burned, the kids of Rosewood Day attend a cruise hosted by multiple schools around the area. The point of the cruise is to learn about the earth, using clean materials, etc. Of course, "A" has followed them onto the boat, and is still tormenting them about what happened that fateful night in Jamaica.

I only really had two problems with this book, though problems they were. First, of course, we have slut shaming. Emily's roommate on the cruise is from a religious private school, where Sara Shepard wrote all the girls as being overly promiscuous. Surprise, surprise. Emily's roommate's nickname is "Erin Bang Bang" because of how many people she's slept with. No one even refers to her by her real name, but instead by that, calling her "slutty" more than once. It's disgusting.

Speaking of disgusting, let's not forget how in the previous book, Hanna stalked her ex-boyfriend-now-turned-boyfriend-again's girlfriend of the time, Colleen. But in this book, Hanna refers to Colleen as "Mike's mistake."

I pray Sara Shepard really does not write any more of these books.

And so concludes Burned.

Burned de Sara Shepard.

Me gustó, pero sólo los leo porque ya me aguante otros once y necesito saber quién es A.
