Probably my least favorite from the series. That's not to say the book is not good. I thought it was really interesting and still enjoyed the read. I understand what Herbert is doing skipping so much time but I think being introduced to all these new characters made it hard for me to get back into.
As much as I like Duncan, I feel like the whole Ghola storyline is a little played out. however it was really cool how they handled him in this book. Overall, great read

This book is the most unique , it has a whole new planet gammu , and brand new characters even duncan is in a new templet .
This makes a refreshing feel , even the storytelling is different it has a fixed 3 POVs , and there is a bit of action espionage which is very new to dune , the bene gessirit as the main protagonists is also new and i think the best POVs with them we deep dive in every aspect from human inside to politics to hiatory .
Odrade , Miles , Taraza and the supporting cast are magnificent, their personalities and conflicts are very well written .
The honerd matre are a good antagonists as they represent a different kind of bene gessirit and came from the scattering whom they are unknown .
From here we go to leto's plan which include the lost ones and the new worms , at the end the course is established , leto's grip at the universe remain until he is vanished from the universe by killing the divided worms .

Phenomenal!
The introduction to new characters was great. I especially love the Bene Gesserit and I loved how as the story progresses, we learn more and more about them. This book kept me on the edge of my toes a lot, and I learned a lot from intelligent characters.

Thus far, this has been my least favorite of the series. It doesn’t feel very much like the first three Dune books. It does build up the universe and the lore, but I’m not sure I would recommend it anyway. There’s this sudden bizarre explicit sexual thread that permeates this book, and it doesn’t feel at home in the Dune universe - especially considering the original trilogy had essentially bupkis amounts of it. I will read Chapterhouse, but I have a feeling I’ll wish I had only read the first three - and maaaaaaaybe the fourth. We’ll see.
Holy moly. This might be my favorite since the first book. This felt like the most grounded of the series. The ending was incredibly satisfying, with several "oh wow" revelations when pieces get revealed. Really good book.
