What a magical book! I enjoyed everything about it - the wonderful main character and her supporting cast, the wide range of magical beings that she is being confronted with, and the fast-paced, well-written storyline that keeps you eagerly turning the pages right to the very end.

I really like this story. It’s fun to read about someone who is in 17 years old having to deal with all the cool adventure stuff of being the chosen one. I liked the pacing and I enjoyed learning about Iris and her family. I wish that she could’ve punched her ex-husband at least once in the face.

A fun, light read with plenty of witchy elements. I didn't think cats could be improved upon, but I'll take a Bob upgrade, please.
Quick and simple. Nothing too deep, but a fun way to pass some time.
It's a cute story, but I found it a little boring. I like reading high fantasy action and adventure, and this isn't that.

I think there was so much potential here. I enjoyed the more mature MC coming into power late in life. As well as Linda, her guide. The characters and world were built up well, and enjoyable. Then it just seems like the climax was rushed and a bit sloppy for me.
