I was conflicted between rating this 2 or 3 stars but the ending made it deserve 3 eventually.
Having read the first trilogy I was happy to encounter Lila, Kell, Alucard and Rhy again and see how the characters evolved but JEEEEZ this book could have easily been 200 pages shorter! Some chapters were totally irrelevant to the story and didn’t make sense, especially for being a first book of a new series. Not sure I will continue reading the next ones :/
