It was a really interesting way to revisit the Shades of Magic universe. I love Tes and Ren so much, and I like how the capabilities of magic in their universe has expanded, focusing more on creating magical items.

I am a bit tired of Holland causing problems though. Its clear what hes doing is going to go terribly wrong. When will he learn????

I didn't really like the plot with Kell's magic, it felt very random, but at least it was resolved.
