I didn’t know how much I’d missed Red London until reading this book! It was such a delight to get to spend more time with Rhy, Alucard, Lila, and Kell. Especially poor broken Kell. I missed this world so much, and the peek into White London…that was absolutely wild. (Holland, you sure left a mess!)
If you yearn to go back to the Red London streets, this will not disappoint!

Really enjoyable story but I didn’t know it was in the “darker shades of magic” universe. I found the first 50% pretty hard to follow but I pushed through because I could see bits of the plot coming together. I wonder now if I would have had an easier time falling into this story if I read the earlier series so I wasn’t so confused by the world and characters.

Ok so this wasn’t as good as the original trilogy I’m sorry to say but it was intriguing and like I love kell forever. Also Holland!? Being back?? Pls be real. Tbh this was kind of slow to get into which I don’t usually have that problem with ve Schwab books so that was kind of sad but still really good and I will read anything she writes ever
