I really enjoyed this book and the representation it carried along with the fact that our main characters, Scott and Crystal, were just so likeable from the start the only thing that let this book down for me was at times I was just not gelling with the writing style, but this is 100% a me thing that I can't even explain to myself. A fun romance with some very serious conversations and topic discussions which kept me thinking as I was reading (whilst also swooning of course).

You know the books that start off so strong and by the end you are pretty underwhelmed?
That’s exactly what this was.
The beginning chapters were so good at building up tension and I was really invested in the story.
Around halfway through, things kinda slowed down for not a good enough reason if you ask me. Also the whole timeline just doesn’t make any sense.
By the end I was just pissed.
I hate communication issues for no apparent reason and I literally had to suffer through multiple chapters of sheer stupidity.
I can’t even say the ending was worth it.
3/5 because I quite liked it in the beginning but ended up being disappointed.
PS: what was that part about hating on Robert Pattinson out of nowhere?
There was literally no reason for that whole segment to be there + hating on him is so 2013 especially considering the current circumstances.

You don’t always find a lot of plus size character rom-coms, and when you do, you can’t guarantee they’ll be great. But I really enjoyed this one. I really enjoyed the characters and the way they met.
In the craze of Instagram influencers, this book nails it on the head. What I thought wouldn't actually happen, happened. The execution of utilizing the social media craze was partially successful, but I couldn't get myself to love it. The storyline and body positivity with a curvy character and the truth to what it means to be an influencer in a day of trolls is what we need more of, but the character's romance felt a little off putting knowing the surprises that ensued as I continued reading the book.
