I really don't usually read erotica or romance, but when I heard that it was an accurate portrayal of a lesbian, BDSM relationship with interesting, well-rounded characters, not to mention a love story, I was interested.
This reminded me a lot of my days of reading-web comics (pretty sure this was originally a web comic), in terms of pacing, characters, and art style, which I enjoyed. The art is beautiful. There is a lot of sex and nudity (duh!), so be warned. That being said, the women are not created through an objectifying lens. This is not meant to serve an assumed straight, male reader. The two protagonists are funny, nerdy, charming, and definitely not one-dimensional sex objects. So nice to see, especially considering this could have easily gone done an objectifying, misogynistic path. I'm interested to see where volume 2 leads.

Been wanting to read this graphic novel series for a while now and it didn't disappoint
this book is graphic it's a girl×girl bdsm story. however what I really loved was the humour, characters, and the art more than anything. I saw this book on Kaitlyn's channel for the get graphic readathon so I thought I would give it a go. It was really interesting and I'm really looking forward to continuing the series.

So this was a really different reading, but I really liked it. I mean, I've read erotica before, but in a graphic novel is so different because is like, you're seeing everything and even though it was a little awkward at the beginning, the cute/domestic parts got me hooked and now I can't wait to read the next one.

I couldn’t put this book down. I had to keep reading, all the way to the end, and then I plunged right into volume 4 directly after.
These characters. This story! ALL THE FEELS.
There’s this amazing narrative tension that drives the whole thing, that’s the newest twist to “will they, won’t they?” that I’ve read recently. It kept me turning pages. It kept me invested. It kept me on the edge of my seat.
The art is gorgeous, especially when you get a full spread that’s just….so detailed, so elaborate, so beautiful. The frame narrative is adorable, and breaks up the tension in just the right ways. And I love the way colors are used to accentuate the plot and the characters. Just a gorgeous integration of visual and textual elements that is obviously a labor of immense love.
If you’ve never read anything with BDSM in it before, this story is a great intro! If you’re a fan of romance, this story has it in spades. The best kind of romance, honestly. These characters touched my heart, and I adore them.
For some of you, all I have to say is “Lesbian BDSM Comic!” and you’ll dive right in. For those of you who aren’t sold on that alone, let me assure you that this story is wholesome, beautiful, touching, and well worth your time. You don’t want to miss out on this, because these are the type of characters who stay in your heart for years to come.
