I loved this story. I enjoyed the emotions playing out in both Angie and Vordis... I loved their communication, even when stunted. I was so happy for the sad pregnant woman to end up with someone so caring and attentive, it was a really lovely romance.
I appreciated that this story was less “passionate sexuality” as Angie was very pregnant and postpartum. Their romance was more an emotional bond that these two built together rather than jumping into the physical and it made sense for their characters. Their humor was silly and sweet and I laughed a lot.
I’m always amazed at the nuanced speech and character traits that Ruby comes up With for different “species” and I look forward to whoever comes next!

In Angie’s Gladiator, readers finally learn what the deal is with the big red “twins” and their preoccupation with the pregnant human, Angie. We also learn that Vordis and Thrand are two very different people despite appearances to the contrary.

I enjoyed Angie and Vordis’s story. Author Ruby Dixon’s creativity seems endless. The world she’s created is fascinating as are all of its inhabitants. I really liked the dynamics between Vordis and Thrand, and am eager to see Thrand find his happily ever after.

This one was alright, still sweet and cute. I've liked others in this series more. The love interest in this one felt a bit flatter to me, and pretty much his whole thing is being strong and liking the main character. Still they are very sweet and it's a quick read. Still liking this series though and over all it's not a bad story.
