I am re-reading this series, my first read was in 2017. Having already read a lot of the other Shadowhunter books now, I don't think this is the strongest. It has a very Scooby Doo character trope of being like "No! It was I!" and then a few chapters later "No, it was me!" type of feeling haha. But it's still such a fun world to tossed in and read. I'm excited to take my time and begin re-reading the Shadowhunter books in order Cassandra Clare recommends, as well as finally get to the ones I've been meaning to read for years.
