4 freaking days that it took me. i'm proud but I'm perfectly conscious that I didn't finish the book this quick because I liked more like because I was getting frustrated with it and just wanted it to finish.
But I have to admit, it's not that bad. it's not one of my favourite books and isn't even near the top 50. but it's well written. but please next time when it's finally starting to happen something interesting on the plot don't star describing the curtains please Eça????? xp

Very well-written, at least in the original Portuguese language. It's slow paced and sometimes quite boring, however it's a classic and allows the reader to witness the Portuguese culture at the time, as well as the social criticism of the society.

gostei bastante. não dou 5 estrelas, porque a história leva algum tempo a desenvolver e começar mesmo em si. eu gostei ligeiramente disso, porque sinto que me ajudou a conhecer e a conseguir sentir algo pelas personagens da obra. mas não é para toda a gente são para aí 200/300 páginas no mínimo só de descrição e falar de personagens e o seu passado. até eu tenho limites
