This was my first introduction to the Locke family, it was dark but great storytelling. I love the crossover with Sandman, that was why I picked it up and it delivered.

Setting the story in the early 20th century was a fun idea. A whole new cast of characters. An expansion and deepening of the Locke & Key uberstory. Best of all for me was the crossover with Gaiman's Sandman universe. It was so much fun! Every time a new Locke & Key comes out I get it. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Very well done. I also appreciated how the German was left in actual German with translations at the bottom. I love getting the chance to read German and not be forced to read a translation.

Over the moon made me cry and I love it dearly. I in fact enjoyed these short stories a lot more than the main one which is weird but here we are. :)

Quick thing about the WWI story: So I read the issues when they were released and boy do I hope they corrected the german on the WWI story. It's 2022, those stories were released a few years ago so I really don't get how this is still happening.
The story itself is good, don't get me wrong but if german is your mother tongue it almost hurts what they did to that language. From a typo (again, how hard is it?!) to dodgy use of phrases - this was just weird and threw me out of the story multiple times.

Outstanding! I love how they brought this volume to an epic conclusion by bringing The Sandman Universe and Locke & Key family's journey with the keys together at last. Every story was 5 star worthy but this culmination at the end was badass!

. It was a joy, and a dream come true seeing Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez playing in Neil Gaiman’s Sandbox! I loved every page!
