romance was cute and the plot points were unique! although gemma was football girlie it didn’t feel like she wanted to be like “i’m not like other girls”, she just genuinely liked football which was nice! zach was cute too! the book moves pretty fast but not in a bad way
emotional hopeful slow-paced

Gemma is a widow, but it’s complicated. She’s looking to put herself back out there, but not for a relationship - more like some one & done adult companionship

These two just melt my heart.

There's such a heartbreaking back story involved for both characters but Gemma really gets kicked to the curb with the double whammy that's served her way. Zach is every guy a girl wants and tries his hardest to win her over even though he knows her attempts to date again are trial and error until she's comfortable for the whole relationship thing.

The hot dog outfit was hilarious and I'm glad that's the reason why he was late because I was gutted for Gemma at that moment in time.

Kandi Steiner has written yet another amazing fun filled sports romance that had me laughing from start to finish.

I read this book 7 months ago and there’s one thing I just can’t get over. NO YOU DO NOT STAND UP AT SPORTS EVENTS. no one would be cheering for you blocking their view. Just no.

it was really good...i liked the angst in it

It’s was very cute & I love a good sports romance even if I know nothing about football lol.

I was definitely frustrated with Gemma, I wish she would have confronted her cheating husband & I wish she would have just let Zach love her and treat her how she deserves. But at the same time I get why she had her concerns and anxieties about a new relationship.

I wasn’t too sure about this one at first but then after talking about it in Kandi’s book club and hearing her talk about her reasons for certain parts of the story line, I definitely came around a little more.

I’m not sure if I liked this or not but this took way too long read and idk if it’s because I’ve been in the longest slump of my life orrrrrrrr if it’s because injury didn’t love this book.
