I love a Cinderella retelling, and I really liked Sophie as a character. Although I don’t usually have a lot of buy-in with stories that have “love at first sight,” I did think Sophie and Benedict’s longing for each other was romantic...

…and, of course, parts were as problematic as hell, which is not surprising, considering its age, I guess.

Yes to the hopeless romantic in me loving this story. I was afraid it wouldn’t be as good as Anthony/Kate but I was proved wrong. Adore it. Love it.
