Argh!!! This volume ends on a cliff-hanger!! A gigantic, blood-covered cliff-hanger!! I'm not sure how I feel about that yet...I have to ponder my muddled emotions over this dismaying development. I still enjoyed my adventures with the Drakes, but I wish there had been more closure to this particular outing. At least the wait for Blood Moon is not painfully long - the next installment will be out in June. But still....an ending would have been nice!

First of all, I gotta say that I LOVE this series. Every single Drake brother and every badass heroine in it. Second: god damn it, what was that ending?? OMG! KIERAN! I need the 5th book like right freaking now

Yeap, I damn well know I’m never lonely when I’m surrounded with the witty characters I love from this series! (Well, except for Solange. She’s getting on my nerves rn but she’ll redeem herself in the final book I guess) And assdfghjklgsf the ending!!! Thank God I have the next book sitting comfortably on my bookshelf for a decade now (literally bought the Blood Moon in 2012 purely because of the moon on the cover + the first book I read in the series XD)

I Love Lucy. I think that after all this time the adults should have realised that Lucy will get into the action no matter what and that cutting her out is stupid. But they did it anyway.
Solange is an idiot and a jerk in this book.
Conner is such a cutie! And in a good way though, Cristabel is a bit of a snob though, she seems to think reading makes her above other people.

I can not believe how she treated Lucy, not just because she's my favourite character, but because how dare she treat her best and truest friend like that? Also OMG! Solange killed Kieren? Or just maimed him? I hope for the latter so someone can off Constantine for being a jerkface.Conner is such a cutie! I think it sucks that Cristabel gets turned into a vampire because omg she died! and second if anyone gets turned into a vampire it should have been Lucy first. But I'll forgive it because she's older and she was dying.
Really enjoyed this one, in no small part due to having part of the story told from the point of view of my favourite character (Lucy). I really love Lucy & Nicholas' relationship and I think it is the strongest and most believable of the series - probably due to the fact that they have known each other for so long. Thought Solange was being a spoilt little brat and would have LOVED to see Lucy punch her in the nose. Can't wait for the next book (even though it will probably be told from Solange's POV rather than Lucy's). Would really love to have a Nicholas POV to see the relationship from his side.

this was an okay book and i don't know why it was quite bad since harvey's previous three books were thrilling, funny and spooky. i don't know if it was that connor was a geek at heart and quite a monotone character and if harvey tried to portray christabel as similar to lucy in snarkiness. What i did come to admire was her love and desperation to calm herself with poetry; it was aunique characteristic and i grew to like it. At first, i was annoyed to know this book was not only in christa's and connor's POV but alsoi lucy's but i get it why: without her, the story would have been really mundane and slow paced throughout. It was good book but i hope harvey picks up her quality again in the next book.
