a twist at the end but otherwise reading an Alex Cross novel is like slipping into that old favorite sweater on a cold winter night. It's mostly well thought out without many stretches of the imagination to make it work.

Absolutely ridiculous. I was hoping it would be so dumb that I found it entertaining, but I actually just found it painful to read. The ending was so outrageous that I couldn't stop laughing.
Another great twisty turvy novel by Patterson. Let’s see you try and figure out the motive of the assassinations. Not until the very end is it revealed. Great read.
