Good book, couldn't put it down after i reached the halfway point.

I think it is time to put this series to rest. sad but true.

Nothing like an Alex Cross novel to help get you out of a reading slump. As always, love the short chapters and fast pace plot. Onto the next!

At this point in the game, we’ve all discussed James Patterson and the possibilities of ghostwriters. Does he have them? Who knows, but we do know that he stays pretty consistent with his character Alex Cross. With that being said you pretty much know what’s going to happen just from reading the blurb. Alex Cross is home chilling with Nana Mama and the kids, here comes the psycho bad guys, cue in Alex to save the day. Nothing fascinating or outstanding in this book, it’s just the same Alex Cross we’ve all come to know and love. Maybe one day there’ll be more.....??

I am a huge fan of the author, and this series in particular. As I went to read this I realised I hadn’t read the previous book yet, so I quickly remedied that before immediately starting this one.

Alex Cross finds himself involved in a case which takes him to the highest possible level of American government, the president himself. What starts as a terrible tragedy quickly gets out of control and leads everyone involved into danger.

Fans of this series will enjoy this latest instalment, as will those new to the series due to background information being included within the pages.

The final chapter, and in particular the final line, promises even more to come and I can’t wait to find out what that may be.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing a copy.

Reading 2019
Book 1: Target: Alex Cross

Alex Cross is my favorite James Patterson character. Enjoyed this book, looking forward to the next installment in the series. Shooting for 24 books this year, wish I had more time to read.

Another enjoyable Alex Cross entry by Patterson. Lots of action, plot twists and a neat ending.

Meh. And the fact that neither JP or his editor caught all of the problems with the basketball scene shows how rushed (or disinterested) the mass production process of these novels has become.

I will continue to read these books because I’m too invested in the story of Alex cross but wow this book was hard to get into. It was so slow at the beginning. However the ending got me hooked and I’m already excited about the next one.. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I will always enjoy reading Alex Cross books!
