I devoured this book!!!! The second in the duology is much more pulse pounding! I especially loved the added povs of elm and ravyn. The lore and magic are incredibly unique; I want to see more of this!

Well wasn’t that just great?! 

What a great ending. The twists and turns and stress were all SO FUN. I loved how the author kept the running theme of balance and the cyclical nature of history while only revealing the true story of it bit by bit. TWAS COOL AS SHIT. 

I very much enjoyed this duology and the world and magic of Blunder! 

Elm and Ione were most def my favourite characters, as well as the Nightmare, of course. I was pissy with him for a bit there but loved him again by the end. 

OVERALL I LIKED IT A LOT!

I’m echoing so many on this one, but THIS is exactly how you write a sequel. A breathtaking fantasy with sharp teeth and claws that captivate you and keep you reading and wanting more. 

I cared for the side characters in book one and was able to love them in book two. Not having to question whether the main characters were going to remain steadfast after all they endured and instead get to watch them grow and learn from each other while the side characters get their own storyline? Flawless. Give me more choice fantasy reads like this. 👏🏼🫶🏼
