This was meant to be a fluffy palette cleanser book and….  Well. It was fluffy. But not in a good way. There were no stakes in the relationship. Both characters had very little arc, and everything just happened far too easily. Even the “surprise” at the end was broadcast early on in the book in the aunt’s behavior.   This was very close to being a DNF.

3.75⭐️

The only reason I didn’t give this a full 4⭐️ was because I wished the ending had a little more. But overall, I enjoyed this one. It had a mix of Rey/Kylo from Star Wars + The Love Hypothesis meets witchy magic vibes. Cute concept, fast paced and easy magic system to follow. Perfect read for October.

this book had zero real plot and yet somehow dragged on and on. literally nothing happened. i thought something was happening when
the aunt was cursed, and then it turned out that was all her doing just to trap the two leads together.
over it.

Such a fun, sexy book! Absolutely living for Ben and Reggie’s personalities as well as their amazing banter and chemistry!! Also loved the epilogue where we got to catch up with them months later and the dual POV throughout. Such a Ben stan. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to read the sequel!

Such a fun book for Halloween!! A cute enemies to lovers with all the sexual tension included.

A little more naughty than your average romance title but not so much to be a turn off. Go Hex Yourself was a sudden interest read picked directly from my bookshelf because I was determined to read at least one "witchy" book this season. That, and I really just wanted to read some cute romance-and cute romance is what I got, plus more! With a combination of some serious adorable scenes, you are also treated to some spice, mystery, and comedy. This one actually made me smile and giggle quite a few times. The characters can be a little ornery but I think it just adds life and realism to the story. There's a character, the Aunt who is "old as dirt" and she confuses some phrases and I found myself just laughing at some of the misunderstandings.
In a nutshell I started off uncertain with the title but after about three or four chapters I began to really love the character voices and the interactions. This title says it's a enemies to lovers, which I kind of get...but really it's just grumpy x sunshine in my opinion. The two characters don't necessarily start off as enemies but they're not friends either. For a romantic comedy the plot gets props for being both entertaining and mysterious. (Even though I did guess the ending about halfway through, but it was still cute).

Another comical and cutesy read. Perfect for anyone in the mood for something you know will end well and entertain you at the same time. And it was dirty ;)

Popsugar reading challenge: a book with an enemies-to-lovers plot
