3.5 ⭐️ This one took me a while to get into, but I enjoyed past the 100 page mark. Enjoyed the witchy aspects and the romance. Liked it, but didn’t love it.
I really wanted to like this book, but I just didn't enjoy the humour or the overall plot; what a let down! The romance, which started strong, felt contrived and haphazardly slapped together by the end.
It started off strong but got really boring and predictable at the end. I don’t mind women writing men at all but at least make it a little less obvious in their inner monologue
