This book took me a little longer than I expected it to, but I think that may have more to do with me than the book. This is a good book, if a little on the sad and serious side. Both the characters have bad pasts and mental illnesses that they deal with every day. So even as they try to find comfort in each other, it's difficult because neither is in a position to be the support system the other needs because they both need help.
I liked the message the book conveyed about health and happiness and being okay for yourself. Also, both the characters were well-written and there's a good story. The writing, the dialogues and the metaphors especially, could have been better in places, but it was a good read overall.

I cried a lot reading this book. It was so well written. Though I did find myself skipping through the sex scenes, it was a bit repetitive for me. But all in all, this was pretty amazing. I love Silas so much!

Oh god, these broken boys broke my heart and put it back together. My eyes are burning from how much I cried for them but I absolutely loved the ending. Corey and Silas deserved their HEA so much. I absolutely loved Beautiful Chaos. I'm so glad I read it.

The story was good, but I felt detached from the characters. I can’t put my finger on why, but I just couldn’t connect with them.

Personal Thoughts
This was heavy, but very worthwhile. Lots of heavy topics, content warnings (check those out), but it was an inspiring story between two fucked up men who found each other and helped each other begin to recover.
I liked it because it was different. It brings in topics you don't ever see in romance novels and inspires hope for anyone.
Moderate: Self harm, Kidnapping, Domestic abuse, and Panic attacks/disorders
