I try to read this book every Christmas, and it never fails to remind me to get my priorities in check. To see people and not presents. To pursue love and not luxury. To be grateful and not greedy. This is a book that lives in my heart.

A very sweet book centered around three teenagers living three very different lifestyles. No objectionable language, so great for parents looking for a clean, sweet story with a good moral compass. As an adult, it was a fast, touching read. Maybe a little "Hallmark", but every now and again around the Christmas season spending 2 hours with a lovely little story can be refreshing.

I love the season of Christmas. This book does an excellent job exploring the good (and not so good) of the Christmas season. It was a beautiful story of hope.

Read this for the first time as a class in sixth grade. It's still one of my favourite Christmas stories to read around the holidays.
