If you don’t remember the stories and tips, she recaps them at the end.
One of the more helpful, actionable “self-help” books I’ve read.

Concise and has an example for each concept. Memory doesn’t happen without both perception and attention.

Wonderful - informing, entertaining and beautifully written. I would perhaps have enjoyed a little bit more about the science of trauma memory for it to have been a perfect read.

I took a lot away from this book. What I appreciated the most was her everyday examples while discussing memory and forgetting. You do not have to be a neuroscientist to understand the information she is sharing.

Big takeaways for me include:
I no longer need to apologize for my love of sleep.
I no longer need to apologize for the time I spend running.
