Don't Believe It

Charlie Donlea

3.89 AVERAGE

3.5 ⭐️ this is my third book of Charlie’s and while it was good, it was a little predictable - which is uncommon for his books. It started off strong and suspenseful (I was so hooked), but then dragged a bit in the middle/end.

But still, Charlie Donlea books

Damn you Charlie Donlea! Again, this book kept me on the edge of my seat! Brilliantly written! But it is also another of your sudden endings! You did a great job of tying all the loose ends together in a fascinating way, but couldn’t you have kept writing! I wanted this part of the story to be resolved!

a wild ride…could not stop reading

Felt very long and not as much of a page turner as I’d hoped

Loved the focus on the making of the documentary, the case itself was interesting and unique. Would’ve been a 5 star book, but it lacked any real character development or heart, the characters felt very empty. I compare this book to Twenty Years Later, which felt a more well rounded mix of character and plot. Overall though, a great book, definitely worth reading.

Interesting plot but the ending was so sudden and flat.

To be completely honest….i didn’t care for it much in the beginning. Then in the middle it caught my attention, the end….i couldn’t put it down. The twist it took shocked me. I thought I had everything figured out. The end of this book is why it’s getting 4/5 stars because it was going to get a 3/5 until the end of it.

Very enjoyable little thriller! Great twists throughout and loved the different perspectives/presentations
