A good story that hooks you right away. Bonus for the ending (no spoilers from me 😉)

This is easily the best thriller I have ever read to date. The plot was not overly dramatized. It was a believable story still with twists it’ll even have you crying at the end! I also love how the authorize in some characters from other novels he has written! It’s genius! But at the same time you wouldn’t have had to read the other books to understand this one! It was so well done!

A very easy twist which we can see a hundred miles away. Too many logical loopholes that some just feel like WTF. FMC was really nice but every other character meh. There was a huge hubbub for the antagonist but honestly their crimes didn’t feel logical and also his reasoning was way off. Seems to be another okay book in my recent list

A decent thriller that's good fun. The mystery itself is somewhat predictable, thanks to the many hints peppered in by the author, but I didn't expect the actual ending. I'm not sure if being disabled myself and also being familiar with various disability tropes in fiction made it easier to figure out who the killer was.
The ending felt rushed to me and is where things started falling apart plot-wise for me, with some holes that seemed glaring next to the rest of a well-plotted book. (Especially with the retired detective; he waited till after the trial to bring things up? ) Still, it was a good thriller read.

God Dammit Charlie you just don't miss. Rip my god damn heart out. Also Ret. Detective Gus Morrelli might be my favorite character ever created.
