Thanks netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review. I loved it. The book makes it all to real how bullying is, and how innocent people still go to jail. I was glued to the pages for hours and could not put this book down because I want a HEA for Toni and Ryan. This book made me pensive and it's definitely thought provoking because it kept me going until the final page. I still wish the book had been a bit longer and we would have got a better peek of how things turned out, that's how glued I was. Amazing book and my best rating...five stars.

As usual with Chevy, I really enjoyed this. So much reality in how things can go badly when we make the wrong choices. I'm ready to get my hands on her newest book.

It's been a minute since I couldn't put a thriller down and finished it in one sitting. I started this one before bed, and then read way past my bedtime because I was so drawn in. Toni and her boyfriend were convicted as teenagers of murdering Toni's younger sister. They've always maintained their innocence. Toni is now out on parole and wants to start a new life, but she can't leave her old one behind. She's swept up in both staying out of harm's way and finally discovering the truth. This one did a great job of storytelling as it goes between the past and present, and ending with a great twist to reveal the truth of what really did happen that night.

Great murder mystery. You think you have it all figured out, but then guess right to the end. Methodical and very well written from past to present until the ultimate reveal and close.

Could really relate to the characters, I was that rebellious teenager with the badass boyfriend.

read this in-between a history exam when i was 15, failed the exam to finish reading, worth it if you ask me
