I enjoyed this story, but something is missing in this one. It is adventurous and fun, but it just doesn't have the same charm as the first, though it is still a solid read.

The second book of this series was pretty good too. I found Creel to be slightly less amusing as she was in the first one at first, but eventually her sarcasm and spirit came back into the book a little bit later. I liked how there was more activity and dialogue from the dragons, and they definitely took a more involved position in this book. I also like how she slightly expounds more on the politics and happenings of the dragons and their kingdom as well.
