4.5⭐️ I literally pushed this book off for so long because I thought it was gonna be a super dark retelling of hades and Persephone but it was honestly just super spicy lol. I bought the rest of the available books by page 100 because I knew I would devour them just like I did with this one!

This book is giving “smut written on Wattpad with a sprinkling of plot circa 2014”. I really liked it, I have a weakness for anything resembling Greek Mythology. I really wish there was more focus on the relationship development between Hades and Persephone, the whole big bad wolf and the innocent princess trope.

Overall, I liked it. It was a quick and fun read.

DID NOT FINISH: 18%

This is the first book I've ever DNF'd. I've finished bad books before, but just couldn't do it with this one. It was so confusing that some people are inheriting titles and some are getting elected but then just so happen to have children named after the Greek goddess that would follow the lineage. Is there magic? Is there not magic? I'm all for retelling a myth or story, but don't just change key aspects like the fact that she doesn't hate him! It was so confusing to follow.
