Such a tease. Seriously I was pissed we didn't find out about the mate marks in the first book and this one ended before her birthday too. Also I didn't think the added POV from Brennan, Mildred, or Ralph added to the story. Maybe it'll make sense later since her aunt had a vision about Ralph, but I think it would have been better to stay Cricket and the guys POV.

Sweet

This is a sweet RH that feels more like it’s setting up the background for an intense future story. A little fantastical, but overall just darn sweet. Slow burn. No intimacy till final book.

The second book in the Cricket Kendall series is every bit as good as the first one. So if you loved the first one, don’t hesitate to buy it!

Wildflower continues where Cricket left off, and you can really follow the relationship between Cricket and the guys. In this book, you also see a growth in her friendships with other people (like my favourite, Brennan). I just totally love the dynamic between everyone.

However, if you are looking for an action packed story, you should look elsewhere. I personally love that the story is so focused on the main characters and that you can see how they grow together, without having some big fight or climax at the end, but that’s not for everyone.

Anyways, I’m so happy that I got the chance to read the ARC, because I love all of Willows books/stories and am so happy I discovered her writing on Wattpad. The biggest reason (for me at least) to read Willows books (and to buy them without a second thought), is because I’m smiling all the way through and the stories genuinely make me feel so happy.

I was so lucky to read an advanced copy of this book and I loved every minute of reading it. I binge read it a couple of days (and that was only because of work)! Cricket and her men are all amazing and this book was better than the first which I didn't believe was possible. Willow Hadley still amazed me with how well she is able to highlight and yet normalize all the problems that people in a poly relationship face. Most RH books never even mention it and Willow doesn't shy away from talking about it at all. I cant wait for the next book!

This series is like a big hug while snuggled up on the couch eating your favourite ice cream. There's just so much sweetness and wholesomeness that you can't put it down. This book continues on from book one with Cricket and the guys defining what their relationship actually is and falling more in love.

The boys do get redic with each other and communication, but the tension it creates is what drives the plot. Yes, sometimes you want to slap them upside the head, but then you see all of them together and the hint of what the future holds and you read on.

Cricket is still learning more about herself and her powers especially since they've basically levelled up in her time in the mountains. Yes, she's written as a perfect FMC, who's pretty and smart and people like, but we do see her flaws and vulnerabilities come out as well. This book is more about the growing dynamics of a poly relationship and how each boy and each relationship is different but works as a whole.

I could keep reading their antics for days, so I cannot wait for the next book.

Loved it

Such a great second book in this series. Defiantly more steam than the first. The characters are developing more, as is the series. Cannot wait to see what happens next.

Ok, so this book wasn’t terrible. But I just started to get annoyed. All the things I didn’t like in the first book continued until I couldn’t ignore them anymore.

For one, this book is sickeningly… enthusiastic? Like, everyyyyy couple pages it’s a character saying “oh my god we are gonna be best friends forever and oh my god you guys are soooo cute together and oh my god, bitch, I’m soooo jealous of you!!!” Like, goddamn.

Furthermore, this book did not move the plot AT ALL! It’s STILL not her 18th birthday. Why do we need 3 books for a 3 week period?!
