The pacing in this one is slower, but the last part of the book revelations happen and a big finale which makes up for all the gradual buildup of new friendships.

I really love this series, its much more urban fantasy focused and only gives a slight hint of romance so that its much more about the main character. Its funny and always interesting. Plus who doesnt love dragons.

Love this series

A volume that left me perplexed : I liked it and at the same time, there are a lot of things that have bothered me a little ...

What I particularly liked :
- visit the Mage school (the library <3) and learn more about the politics of the world of magic and more particularly about mages =)
- the characters who die quite brutally and finally, it was a surprise that brought to light a little more serious side to the story what I liked
- FINALLY we see dragon =D

What disappointed me :
- the plot was a bit confusing ... Finally, it was not too interesting that Mack is at the Academy because HELLO she is not a mage so she will inevitably fail !
- all this hatred of other students while technically they don't even know her ...
- the villain who appeared a bit from nowhere, we don't really know why he's here ...
- the plot with the exchange of statues that were a little far-fetched ...
- I still don't understand her thing with the stolen clothes ...
- well this is the third book, I would have liked Mack to stop behaving like a crazy girl and that she is more cautious !! (UH when she leaves blood in the house of the vampires ...)

To sum up, this series is part of light series, to read during the holidays or when you need to disconnect from everyday life =) It's not a crush that will prevent me from sleeping because I want to read more because it's too messy but it's nice to read anyway =)

I’ve never met a character that hated nicknames so intensely that it ended up being annoying to me, but here we are.

As far as I can remember - I don't remember haha, even after reading the synopsis again. Maybe time for a re-read
